I don't mind bringing in the 5 year rule to qualify on residency grounds, but not when you already have a British parent and/or passport, yet happened to be born or raised abroad. Tom Curran's bowling was exceptional yesterday and I thought we were in trouble after leaving Woakes out. Jake Ball was useless.

Anyone who has the suspicion that the ECB are an actively bad force for the English game doesn't get too much argument from me.
