Not really, The transfer window wasn't 24 hours. Parish had all summer to bring in a quality striker so yes he should have delivered.

Next summer when he's counting cost of all the lost millions and struggling to get any new investment in , the penny may finally drop for Steve .. there was a lot of poor decision making in the summer and I fear will cost us big time

You are right I don't have influence but I have always defended SP and the board but I have a right to be angry about this and SP should come out on social media and explain (he normally likes to do this )

They wanted paying in 6 months but we insisted on 18. Next thing SP says we have 340 million to spend in January! am I missing something here?

That seems fairly normal for clubs of our size & is usually explained away by timings of known income and outgoings. I get why but you'd have thought someone could've scraped a few million together to make it happen - even if it was a loan from a director or similar. Maybe we do actually have a shopping list for the next window or two? If so, it could all end up being for nowt.
