Don't even joke about it.

Next we're Playing Man U at Old Trafford, frankly we could play anyone up front, I really don't think it's going to affect the next 2 games

and it's goodnight from me.......

Bringing in a new manager, asking him to change the way we play (but not giving him any support in the transfer market) and then sacking him after 4 games is not a small mistake. Its a howler borne out of fear of relegation and not having the strength of your convictions and sticking with a plan for a reasonable period to at least give it a chance to work.
Failure to sign a striker before the window closed when everyone knew we only had one fit one is penny pinching at best, outright incompetence at worst.

If we stay up it will be Palaces greatest ever achievement. If we go down it is Parish's fault 100%

Don't you remember when we won once out of the 1st 11 games in our 1st season back in the Prem & still finished 10th?Or being 20th at Christmas time under Dowie & getting promoted in 2004?

I realise that we have no strikers at the moment but our squad is much stronger on paper than our 1st season back in the Prem when we stayed up after a dreadful start.

When you're run by egotistical amateurs this is the kind of thing that happens

See the two great goals he scored yesterday off the bench to turn around the game for Everton.

Mistake after mistake this year by the Board.

so Niasse was going to make a difference he has scored 2 goals in one match doesnt make him a harry kane does it and has you said he come of the bench so he is not first choice in a team that hardly scores

You are right Nobby
Way back when Jordan was in control the same thing happened with Tim Cahills agent
More dosh at last minute
In an interview after we went down
Think it was Charlton 2_2
He said it probably would have stopped us going down with his goals
He went to EVerton
Everyone to a man said that was the start of agents losing control when he told them to fO
Seems it is back again in their hands after recent reports ref misses
Bummer really but maybe Mr p thought Jordan was right and followed his lead

That's not quite what happened though is it. The reports at the time stated his agents had tried to blag a large fee from us and Everton at the last knockings & both clubs told em no.

Whilst I agree we royally screwed up not getting a striker in I also believe the club were right not to allow themselves to be held to ransom. You start down that road & you end up getting the same treatment on every transfer - the kind of mess Redknapp leaves behind when he buggers off.

I don't think Tony Pulis will be back though. And, more correctly, we were 20th when Iain Dowie became manager.

Are we actually looking for a strikeror have the "pals to be" decided they will keep all the fans swinging as usual awaiting some info
Been a supporter for 65 years and the frustration of waiting & waiting & waiting & waiting & waiting & waiting for any info about our club.
Palace has always been the club of the fans, but these days the fans are being left out of the loop eg how long is Christians out due to his injury and are we actually looking for a replacement striker or not(don't hold your breath).Time restraints are probably against us signing anyone due to the excessive time required to find and complete the agreement (we don't have 3 months plus time to get anyone fit).
