Who incidentally scored for Hull at the weekend

A lot depends on how bad (or good) they were as teams - if he had no support or service than not so bad.

Maybe he could be the new Campbell?

Oldham finished 17th out of 24 and Shrewsbury 18th out of 24.
Shrewsbury are now top after 9 games and unbeaten so some turnaroud under manager Paul Hurst.

If we play with a striker then he is the only one. When you see the movement of Lumeka and Ladapo for the 23s you can see them doing well in the first team give them a go we have nothing to lose.

He's a 24 year old professional footballer and you think it would be unfair to give him the opportunity to play a game of professional football at Old Trafford?
It's the opportunity of a f*cking life time, if he does well he could have another 8 weeks to cement his place in a top flight 1st eleven.
He was playing for margate 2 years ago and probably playing night games after a hard day's scaffolding, or something similar.
I bet Rooney is still kicking himself that he was brought on against Arsenal at 17, should have waited til he was at least 28 to give him his debut. FFS.

Exactly. Its an opportunity that any pro would jump at. Come to that, its an opportunity that ANYONE would jump at. Lose his confidence?? What do you think he is ?? He's big and bold. Give him the shirt.

So pretty poor then, considering the rest of the division.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Ladapo was on 'Loan' at Oldham and Shrewsbury last season.

His record with them in all competitions :

Oldham. Played 22 games. 3 goals
Shrewsbury. Played 15 games 4 goals.

Before a certain harry kane broke in to the spurs team, under similar circumstances, he had had a few unflattering loans

Leyton orient 5 in 18
Millwall 9 in 27
Norwich 0 in 5
Leicester 2 in 15

Total 16 in 65

Now im not saying they are on the same level, and probably wont ever be, and we are a totally different team to spurs, but spurs took a gamble and look how that has worked out

Kane and Ladapo are both 24.

Kane was 18 when on loan. Ladapo was 23.

This is a delusional thread, sadly, even by HOL's recent standards.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

Looks like we should probably get behind our only real option then.

This reminds me of the Jason Banton fanfare before we were promoted. He was gonna be our savior, a goal scoring winger who's tricky and unpredictable. Never got a chance and now we know why

Not saying that ladapo will go the same way, it just has a similar feel
