This injury might not be as bad as first it seems,

During the period Benteke will be injured we have games against United, Chelsea and Spurs, games if we are honest we are not likely to get much from, which means that its probably more important to stop the opposition from playing which often starts with strikers closing down the defenders which isn't Christians strongest area but it could be something that a young hungry striker might me more willing to do

Still fvcking terrible though and you've missed out Newcastle away and West Ham at home, same as everyone else trying to make out it's some blessing in disguise to not have a striker.

Yep, because all those top players will be queuing up to join palace in january. ...

There is no reason Niasse and Tosun wouldnt want to join in January. We could easily sign a fringe player from another PL club or some bozo from Turkey or Greece or Russia or wherever. Premier league is a big draw and so is living in London. However - I just hope that come January we are not cut adrift. RLC could do a job for us, but its robbing peter to pay paul, as we would miss him in the middle of the park. Lets face it the whole team was looking awful for weeks except a couple (the players we dont actually own) so while this makes Parish look like an absolute schoolboy, it may not be as bad as we all think. The key for us is getting Wilfried Zaha back in the team, as this run is more about him than any other player we have. Thats a shame as he will get fouled even more than last year now after this series of results, but with Zaha back we just need someone who can run the channels a bit and hold it up and show a bit of quality on the ball, RLC can do that. Ironic that I am actually wishing we had Fraizer Campbell on our books, isnt that a dirty feeling!!

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Spot on. Playing a midfielder up front is never a good thing, even if it is an option. I think we all knew on deadline day that this was going to happen, can't believe what a nightmare this season is turning into already.

"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017.

He lives in Malta, doesn't go, so isn't so 'involved', and frankly has some contempt for a lot of his British counterparts.

Really? Wow you know everything about my movements. I attend 4 or 5 matches a season, each trip costing at least €600, so in total that's more than £2500 of 'involvement' in a year. How 'involved' do you get every year and how long does it take you to get to a match and back home?

Regarding Malta, you're not very good at geography are you? Take a look at the flag on mu username

The club go quiet when bad news surfaces. Limits the backlash they know is coming. I wonder if Parish goes on to do his postponed talksport interview this Sunday. We lose, he doesn't would be my guess.

Still don't know the fear of using a young player on top - at least they will bee trying and probably be a better first defender than Benteke.

It must pain you so very much to put money into a country you despise.
