This is what gets me, it's the fact that there are deluded fans out here that actually think this is a "confidence booster". I mean honestly do people really think this just because of what the papers say. The team have numerous games against the u23 possibly light contact in order to try different formations etc. Is it to hard to consider that drafting in Bromley in order to try certain things out might be better in respects that the two teams are alien to each other etc.

I think that you need to tell Roy Hodgson and Steve Parish that they don't know what they are doing as it's them that arranged it

Roy used the game to work out systems and ways to play - it was not about the result.
No doubt he tried different striker options as well
