His electric cars drive themselves; he has his rockets land back on Earth like a Thunderbird and he's working - actually physically building the stuff - to settle people on Mars. Also, he believes it's very possible that we're all living in The Matrix.

With all of this, I still think the best part is that he's nicknamed his Mars ship the "BFR".

I was boasting to someone yesterday about the historical nature of my house. In the 1960's the company operating here made components for the moon landings.
These components were left on the moon in order to lose weight for the return to Earth. So stuff made in my house is still on the moon !

Then I thought about it a bit more. Actually that makes me liable for clean-up costs under "The Polluter Pays" Principle. My house is culpable of inter-planetary fly tipping.

Once proud of my house, I am now also a bit ashamed
