I think we're stuck with Theresa for now. At this moment in time, it's not exactly a dream job to take.

Just throw that in early.
I'm sure that can't be true about the seats.
If so that must be how far from reality most MPs are. Both sides for sure.
I mean khan wants to build houses with no parking. How mad and out of touch is that.
Really do think the lunatics are running the asylum.

It astonishes me that people in London bother with cars. The bus, train and tube services are phenomenal.

But it was for the Olympics!!
I work in some of those blocks over the way.
Now they are turning a pretty penny so it will all go into the pot to pay back the outgoings.
Over 2000 pads and still building more.
That area is swimming in dough I tell you.

For a month, not for forever.

Has an Olympic Stadium ever been reused for an Olympics?

Optimistic as ever

Agreed. You can easily live in zones 1-2 without a car. Some blocks now being build to rent where the operator has contracts with taxi firms and residents get discounts and reserved cars. Also many blocks have car clubs operated by Hertz etc. Car parking is a waste of valuable land space in zones 1-2, and bad for the environment.

Thankfully Khan is a lot more in tune with the problems London has with space and air quality than Boris ever was.

That's not viable as it doesn't happen in the same place every four years.
It would be about fifty and need rebuilding anyhow.not sure if any have but I'm sure they needed investment if they have been.
The big white tent in Greenwich is making a fortune and probably now or close to profit. That was given short shrift as a waste of money at the time.
In time this stadium will recoup some losses.
The swimming and cycling ones are being used.
This will as well eventually for concerts and big ,popular events.
Sadly short sighted and the here and now views of spending money in other areas takes over.
Progress is not only a natural thing, it is man made as well.
Seem to get more press.

I'm not saying it won't, and I said at the time it was being built that the dome would eventually come good and even if it didn't we got the south section of the Jubilee line out of it.

It just should have been built ready to convert, not purely for Athletics. They've already had quite a few concerts there but I've heard getting in and out is a bit of a ball ache.

The aquatic centre, the copper box and the velodrome have all had good use since 2012.
