I don't see why we shouldn't give him the nod. Sako wasn't really the answer as a back up winger, let alone a striker.

He's got nearly two weeks to slot into the team (those who aren't going on internationals) and the confidence game against Bromley, so maybe the idea is to let him get up to form, get some confidence and then throw him in against Chelsea.

I have to agree. From here his career will either go really well or he'll be playing for Dover in 2 years.

A young striker is better than playing someone who doesn't normally play there.
Square pegs in square holes please!!

Please let him and the other two "Ls" onto the pitch to impress.

I see that a Spurs player who is breaking into their first team has been called up for the England squad. Youth needs to be given its chance.

You are referring to Harry Winks.
Far from "Breaking into their first team" he made 33 apps last season.

In that if you pick Spurs strongest 11, he's on the bench (just).

Remember a couple of good touches to bring the ball down and one really tasty lay off to someone with his back to goaland the 1-2 was on but the ball in to him was poor.

Looked more like a natural striker than Bakary, who was peeling wide too often with the ball and there was no one in the middle to send it to.

24 is he - he should definitely get the nod then and be told the shirt is his to keep if he does well!

I'm hoping it was more to do with not risking him getting a knock before the start of the season on 21 October.

Yep, those scorelines of 5-0 and 4-0 say it all...
