I saw a chart (that I now cannot find again) that showed some astonishing stats on U.S. gun ownership:

78% of Americans do not own a gun
19% of Americans own 50% of the guns
3% of Americans own the other 50%

Wow!

The 3% are the gun fetishists that I mentioned in an earlier post, but I had no idea that they were this far off the charts (literally).

So when ~90% of all Americans favor "common sense" gun controls, we know who comprises a significant proportion of the opposition.

They estimate (because there isn't a registry so no way to know for sure) ~300 millions guns in America. So that 3% - basically 10 million people - own 30 guns each. So that's 10 million potential Stephen Paddocks running around with their personal arsenals, ammunition stockpiles and bump stock firing mechanisms.

An observation, but feel free to label as you wish.

In my little world, 95% of people (yes, that includes you) would ache/need a rest when holding a standard SDS drill while drilling into masonry for around 1min.
God knows how much force firearms such as those used would require..............but apparently an unfit OAP managed it?

I've fired plenty of guns like the kind used and they are remarkably easy. You'd get more recoil off of some handguns.

And it's not even comparable to using a SDS bit in a hammer drill. You don't lock a hammer drill into your shoulder so the forearms and biceps take the brunt of it, oppose to a little light bruising, at best, to the shoulder when firing a fully automatic weapon.

An AR50 packs a punch but if you've got it on a tripod with your stance well set it's simply a case of keep on pulling the trigger.
