That's an entertainment video. As soon as these kind of things have a music track running along side them....it's like bubble gum.

If aliens are here it at least explains my mother-in-law.

From what I have heard, that might well be the case.

I'm not suggesting that I think Hitler lived. I'm just saying that it is possible. The only physical evidence to support the testimony turned out to be erroneous.

As I said, the Moon landings could easily be proved.
The obvious answer to you why they would fake them is to give the impression that they had won the space race. That is fairly obvious.
You only believe that man went to the Moon because you saw it on TV from one relay satellite like everyone else at NASA mission control.
I'd be very upset if they were faked. It would feel like my whole life had been a lie. I choose to believe it was real.

How big would such a conspiracy be? Just how many thousands of people would have to be involved? I just feel sorry for the brave men who went to the moon having to put up with this nonsense - not to mention Edmund Hillary spinning in his grave - climbed Everest - pah, he just wanted to win the mountain race.

I don't suppose they would be that bothered if they went for real. Knowing that you went would be all the peace of mind you'd need.
How many would need to be in the loop? I suppose it depends on how much of the process was real. Assuming that we orbited the Moon on numerous occasions for real previously then the landing bit might only have required far less conspirators. But that is pure speculation. Like I said, I hope we did go.

Did we win the World Cup in 1966? I only believe it because I saw it on TV in black and white. Next time I see that Geoff Hurst, I shall confront him with the conspiracy.

Did the ball cross the line? Has it been proved yet?

Let me be clear. I think it most likely that we went to the Moon but you can see why there would have been pressure on the US to make sure the mission was a success no matter what.
That alone would lead to speculation about a Capricorn One type scenario.

It is probably technically easier to actually go to the moon than successfully carry out such a conspiracy.

Consider this for fun.

A fake studio is set up with a link to relay satellite.
The Apollo crew orbit the Moon or where ever they go and the fake moon surface is seen by Mission control and the TV companies. The broadcast, by the way, was not sent directly but via a relay as well, so it was very degraded and delayed. You will remember how bad the Apollo 11 pictures were.
So the crew return to Earth and splash down thus appearing to win the race with Russia to the Moon with no chance of crashing and dying on the Moon which would have been a national disaster at the time.

Just for your entertainment you understand.

It's like reading Kermit on one of his delusions.
