I'm not debating the merits of the legal system when dealing with divorce, I'm suggesting that there are examples where men might have a good reason to hate women.
All over the world there are cultures where women are treated as second class. In Britain, we are ahead of most in achieving equality. Sadly we are importing cultures that are backward in that respect.
However, with equality comes equal responsibility and equal consideration.

Importing? A poster on here once jokedthey 'would' but only if it were degrading and humiliating for the woman.

Well, women and men are different physiologically and that is an unavoidable fact.
Men are therefore likely to be potentially more dangerous in the physical sense. I'm not sure we can change that.
That said, I won't subscribe to the idea that men are always bad and women are always victims. There is plenty of bad behaiour from both sexes.

Well except when it comes to crimes assault, sex offences, buglary, murder etc where in the problem is pretty much dominated by male perpetrators.

We all know there are bunny boilers out there but, of course, there are also violent misogynists too.

Don't think one gender can claim the moral high ground when violators, bullies, abusers and downright liars can be of either.

But, generally, men are more violent than women so it stands to reason that within a domestic scenario the victim is more likely to be female.

One woman in four experiences domestic violence in her lifetime
Office for National Statistics (2016) Focus on Violent Crime and Sexual Offences, 2014/15

Two women are killed each week by a current or former partner in England and Wales
Office for National Statistics (2016) Compendium – Homicide (average taken over 10 years)

In the year ending March 2016, 1.2 million women reported experiences of domestic abuse in England and Wales

If only the perps were Muslims, the victims would get a lot more sympathy.

Well that's it then. We should strangle all boys at birth.

Well I have some experience of your 'quotes' from other posters so I will just ignore that tosh and ask what your point is?

And of course, if they were, you would find a way to apologise for them, or better still, pretend it wasn't happening and draw our attention to some horrible White people.

Yeah, they also built the modern world.......do most of the risky jobs....die more often, higher suicide and the list goes on.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to the genders....there is just behaviour....most males are built for violence to some degree and that's just a reality....they are more expendable...for example...lose 3/4 the males in a war and the species continues...lose 3/4 the females and you have a serious problem

The genders are different and that's ok..all we can do is treat the individual fairly.

Male behaviour like female behaviour is dictated by genetics.....some people are born gay just as some people are born very masculine or very feminine and all the degrees inbetween.......and the best that can be hoped for is a decent home environment that shapes these natures into useful directions.

No political or social policy is ever going to change the basic truths of human natures.....it's like Canute thinking he can order the tides to change......nothing is going to change.

All that happens is different people are punished depending upon whatever the political zeitgeist is......all the stuff directed against gay people never stopped them being born, just as all the stuff directed against 'tonic masculinity' isn't going to stop masculine males being born.

That's what I like about you, your measured response.

Actually, the problem I have with how the rape laws work in favour of the defendant, is that its keeping people who have committed sex crimes back into society with a sense of 'invulnerability' when it comes to the law; they're likely to re-offend, especially if it never went as far as being charged.

And there in lies the problem here. The problem isn't men, but its among men. Crime is disproportional towards a minority group in demographics. Only a small percentage of men for example are likely to have committed sex offences, but those people will account for around 75% of serious offences (its generally true of most crime - that a small group of 'career criminals' produce most of the crime.

Problem is, if you're not protecting the public from those key offenders, they're likely to be re-offending.

So whilst I do attest to the ideals of a beyond reasonable doubt for a criminal conviction, in the case of sex offences, its often leaving offenders within society to re-offend until eventually they are prosecuted.

Crime isn't really driven though by genetics. Rape or assault, aren't behaviours, they're classified as deviancy. People can be born with a genes and biological factors that affect aggression or impulse control, but by and far, those that are and turn up in the criminal justice system are found in Forensic Psychiatry, to be only a percentage of those possessing such traits in society.

When you look at forensic psychology and psychiatry in relation to offenders, environmental factors play a huge role in correlation between offence and offender.

That was my interpretation of diplomacy.

There is certainly a core of offenders who need taking out of circulation and it is inevitable that they will almost always be men. I'm not sure what you can do about that percentage that are sex offenders without a good case against them. They are innocent until proven otherwise.
