Irrespective of your opinion of SP etc the idea of Palace fans protesting and feeding the bell ends of Sky after four years in the Prem and FA Cup Final is really cringe IMO.

Keep hearing joke club etc. Better than no club which is what our opponents on Saturday are and United, City etc.

My son gets a bit of stick at school. Simple retort "how many games you plastic"

Absolutely spot on Rachid. They'll all be sorry when they hound the best thing that has ever happened to this club out of it.

You're referring to Wayne Hennessey?

Wish I'd thought of that when watching Palace struggling in the old third division.
What a dope.Anyone willing to donate money to this crackpot venture really needs some type of serious therapy.

It's amazing how quick people are to forget the first 2 or 3 seasons he was for us. Goals against Norwich, Man City etc. Never seen so much passion from a player having scored like that before. I would have him and his passion over PVA and a couple of others out there all day long!!!

He can't do what he did 2 or 3 seasons ago. Good at pointing though, but then again so was Calvin Andrew. He was a master.

I'm not saying don't protest or vent your frustration. The start to the season we've had is disgusting. Not just from a results point of view but from a Management point of view from Director downwards.

I don't understand how 'football people' can't check any website or forum and see that we probably need a striker. I know that sounds ridiculous because obviously these people shouldn't have time for forums like ours and should find this information different ways but it genuinely seems like the 'Professionals' at the club couldn't see what the average fan could see, so in that case a scout on the bloody Holmesdale.net might have been a good idea!

However, season isn't 'done and dusted' because somehow, 3 teams above us have only managed to get to 7 points. If they lose this weekend (as will we) we may only need five games to turn it around.

Do not start protesting at Chelsea at home. That's madness. That's a game under normal circumstances we'd cheer and sing if we could keep the result to 3-0. It's a throwaway game that should be the PLEASURE of being a Premier League team, the fun day out for the casuals whilst we're safely in mid-table. We've knackered that obviously.

At least wait to see how Roy does the following 5 games though, starting with Newcastle away. Don't get me wrong, 7 points will be extremely lucky if that's all it is after Saturday but a loss to Newcastle and I will start agreeing with 'done and dusted'.

Does anyone think that protesting will help the team as we try to turn things around? Realistically it will only further demoralise the squad and bring more negative attention to the club.

If we can manage to make up ground and not be cut adrift by Christmas then I imagine we'll see the usual January shopping spree. Hopefully we can pull off yet another great escape and then next Summer we will be more pragmatic in our approach rather than relying on this ridiculous last chance saloon methodology.

As far as I'm concerned Parish wants what's best for the club he just needs to learn from his mistakes. I would him over an oligarch with deep pockets and a dubious past any day of the week.

Wrong. After seven games in that season we had scored six goals and had two points.
