USA were not good, this is true. Losing to T&T on the last day hurt, but Mexico losing to Honduras and Panama's "ghost goal" put them out. But look at Panama's goal, not only did it not cross the line, it didnt come that close, and nobody celebrated. So why was it given ? Ghost of Sepp Blatter ?

The US has been s***. Mere incompetence would've been more than enough to have them qualify from Concacaf. You have to almost be trying not to qualify to get closed out. Also, Blatter's not dead, unless he's recently exploded a la Mr. Creosote at an all you can eat fois gras buffet.

Never mind what happened elsewhere. If the USA can't at least draw with a side that was winless means no matter what happened elsewhere they don't deserve to be in Russia next year.
