I just wish people would analyse the games in more detail especially events leading up to goals before automatically blaming Wayne. I could be here a long time giving examples where he has been blamed unfairly but most people would have fallen asleep by then. I would be quite happy if a better keeper than WH was found for us but that doesn't mean Wayne is useless as there are many keepers in the PL who are about the same standard as him. I'll give one example ie against Southampton he saved a fierce shot but it went out to an unmarked Saints forward who scored. That same week end I saw Courtois do the almost exact same save but the Chelsea defence were alert and cleared the ball. And in the WBA v Man City Cup game Ben Foster made a save but the ball was parried and Sane scored from the rebound. However Wayne was crucified on here for that goal but no-one blamed the defence in front of him for leaving the Saints player unmarked. I could go on but will leave it there for now. Speroni conceded a goal you would have slated him for all time if he was WH . Some of his distribution that put us under pressure you would have destroyed WH for. See, you're missing the point entirely. The crowd really shouldn't have been up for that all things considered. Two teams of Chelsea's calibre had just slapped 9 goals past us in the last two games and we were looking out to sea with no other reasons to be hopeful other than the return of Wilf and Speroni.
