To be fair, I think anyone watching yesterday's game would say we're not going down. We just have to keep up the good work. As DM said ... a team with pace will always worry the opposition and score goals. That was certainly the difference over our previous games. Well done the backroom boys, the team and to everyone on the day who contributed to the tremendous atmosphere.

He does speak fairly about us.I hope BBC keep using him. I seem to remember he said he knows a few of our players & that is certainly the impression I get. I liked the way Ian Wright kept using Wilf's first name as if he was a favourite nephew. That's the first time I've watched Match of the Day this season; I couldn't face it before this result.

Claridge would never say anything good about us. We could have won 10-0 against a full strength Chelsea and he would probably say it's because the kit man didn't iron creases into their pants. How he got a career in punditry I'll never know.

Danny Murphy is a big fan of Roy's having worked under him at Fulham. Always gives him big credit for the way he gets his teams playing. He's basically the same as Pulis or Big Sam, but with none of the credit. He's all about shape, togetherness, team bonding and everyone knowing their job. In reality a system that needs repetition and daily work. A system totally unsuitable to international football IMO. Why Sam would of failed with England IMO too because of the big gaps between each get together there is no chance to foster any type of togetherness or repetition.
Murphy is the best pundit, talks sense and sees many things from a fans view point as he actually was a proper Liverpool supporter growing up.
