Benteke is a class act who when he regains full fitness, will score a hatful and eventually pull us clear from the mess we are in.

Exactly. Chelsea and Everton want him for a reason. He's class. Our poem has been board room issues in hiring wrong men. And team morale. If Chelsea want him then you know he's good enough for us.. Bhatsuyai wouldve faced similar problems with the team was playing last month and back.

Everyone keeps saying Benteke is a class act, but all I have seen him do this season is miss easy chances and be out of position when the rare occasion of a decent cross came into the box. For the sake of our club I hope his class comes back to the fore when he gets back. You guys don't seem to be too concerned but I just think that other than in the air he is too easy to mark out of the game.

Earlier posts have talked about swapping Tekkers and RLC for the Chelsea ‘misfit’. I’m no doubt being dense here, but does this rely on Chelsea forgetting that RLC is theirs already?

I like Benteke, I think he will score us the goals to get us out this mess but not by hoofing the ball up to him - he isn't that sort of player, he may look like it but clearly he doesn't like that side of the game. Play like we currently are with him in the side and I believe he'll get goals. Once he's back, it should also allow RLC to play behind him rather than on the wing which is wasting his talents.

There is also a massive difference between appearing lazy and actually being lazy.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

Haha no, we are talking about getting the misfit and RLC on a permanent for Tekkers, but we know it wont happen so its just another what if scenario.

Batshuayi cost Chelsea more than Benteke did for us and people think Chelsea would swap him and RLC for Benteke??? Not sure I get that logic

If they paid that amount for him, it doesn't mean he is worth it. I would value Batshuayi at about £20m and RLC about £13m. Don't see why we couldn't ask £33m for Benteke or a swap?
