Would it be beneficial for kids whose bad behaviour at school can be attributed to early life trauma, witnessing domestic violence, having addicts / alcoholics as parents, being locked in their room for days on end or neglect?
These are the kind of things that kids my missus sees have been through.

I think it's impractical in terms of resources over class sizes. It's a lot of mental work even for one individual and you have to be very willing to put that work in.... and at a young age with damaged minds it may be unrealistic.

Positive views of the classroom at that age may be helped by systems such as whole brain teaching. Maybe it could be modified to fit differing roles I don't know.

I think the introduction of NLP in this school might be something to do with this...

According to my missus, she is being 'let go' from christmas because of budgetary reasons and NLP is what the Academy chain will use. Wouldn't be surprised if there were links between the Academy chain and the NLP provider.

This is bye the bye. I'm concerned that schools are going to use what I've seen described as quackery on very very vulnerable children.

More dog whistle racism. How strange coming from 'the large'
In 2017 we spent 1billion to prop up a strong and stable government bribing a party that has it's roots in a terror group.

Yes and it could be bigger had the Tories spent that 1billion where it is really needed. That was my point. I thought everyone would have worked that out all by themselves.

I was wrong.

Must get used to that by now,but the budget is the budget.
I thought you could understand that,a budget means a sum set aside for certain things....i.e the education budget, therefore the monies i spoke about comes from that budget.....got it now,we could also takke some from the overseas budget....but that a different budget....you dont teach anymore do you!!

What's the point though?

You say: "We need more money for schools".
Others will say: "There is enough already".

It's completely brain dead.

Anyway, you opened the topic talking about the merits of NLP. Not budgets given to schools!

I REALLY don't know why I waste my time...
