2013 / 14 we had 3 points after 10 games.

Now we have 3 points after 9.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak

Not to mention, November is probably the most crucial part of the season with so many winnable games, and to be without a striker through all of it (and probably December as well knowing the state of our medical staff) will end up costing us big time. Call me a pessimist all you want, but I really can't see any way out of this. Looks like our time is finally up.

Do you remember how dead and buried Leicester were a few seasons ago. Pipe down. Not ideal but a long way to go.

The biggest problem for me personally is the type of form we'd have to show to get out of this mess. Just from a statistical point of view, survival now would have to mean European place form. When I look at our squad, can I really see it? It's doubtful, not beyond the realms given our history but it's certainly the most dire situation since promotion.

This in my opinion is the after effect of our short sighted approach to affairs. A desire for instantaneous results over sustainability and the euphoria of scraping survival each year allows everyone to take their eye off the ball.

Even if we do stay up, we need to look at progressing for the long term and improving as a footballing side or we literally are just putting off the invevitable for another season.

We're the Arthur over ere!

There is no way I would give up now we have gone on good runs before and one is deffo overdue. It is more surprising to me is the form of the promoted sides, can they keep it up and will they spend in Jan if they're feeling confident about survival. The manner of our defeats is also feeling painful with the timings of goals against it's like an extra twist of the knife. We have to keep the support going W. Ham is going to be a tough one but they all are now in the big league

WE are in a no worse place than last week - save that one game has gone - 5 points from safety.

There also seem to be plenty of other bad teams this year.

We play one on Saturday - a very important game for both of us.

There are only 3 of the current top 11 clubs that we have not played - in two weeks it will be only 2.

Yes great post & we finished 10th!This time we have a much better squad on paper!I know you don't win matches on paper but with Woy in charge he will drill them well on the training ground to be very organised to improve on our points to games ratio for the rest of the season.

Obviously I would rather have more points on the board but there are plenty of matches left to get safe.

Sounds like we we're a little unlucky yesterday.

I for one think it's NOT to late.

Seems like Roy is getting his idea's across and performances are getting better.

Hopefully he'll get the best out of Benteke when he returns.

11th actually. All the same, a very interesting point. Terrible how one forgets these things. That season we picked up 17 points from our last 8 games.

He didn't say he wasn't going anymore, although that may be the case. This is the first time I think we're done although I keep going and lose count at the number of mute supporters who probably claim they're keeping the faith.

Until we're showing a real chance of an escape I'm not going to let the emotions get to me when we haven't equipped ourselves properly in this amateurish shambles.

Good luck to Roy.

Statistically speaking, we are in favour of turning our form around. Statistically, we've been very unfortunate not to be doing a lot better, and, in theory, we are due a hot streak at some point (because these should balance out). Our underlying numbers aren't indicative of a team that is in relegation, surprisingly.

As well, looking at Roy Hodgson's record at Fulham and Liverpool, he tends to win about 40% of his games, give or take. This would mean, in theory, he should win 12 of the last 30 games, which would give us 36pts, whilst already having 3 of those points.

Obviously, it's all theory of course, nothing is certain.

Sooner rather than later the luck will run out. You can’t expect a miracle every season.
