Great midfielder that has fallen out of favour at Southampton.
Great dead ball specialist and has a good eye for a forward pass.
No game time and world cup year could mean a January signing possible, a successor to Puncheon and an improvement.

Thoughts?

Yes terrific delivery at free kicks and excellent at free kicks over a wall.
Has DVDs of all of Beckham's free kicks and sometimes practises free kicks by putting a bib in a net and trying to hit it.
Hard working player who brings energy to the team.

The esssential additions are in my view striker and RB. Lets see what loose change we have after that

I would suggest that our transfer strategy for January will be determined by our league position.

If we are seriously adrift with scant chance of survival, one would imagine that the club wouldn't embark on a certain level of expenditure in a vain attempt to avoid the dreaded drop.I feel that realism will certainly be order of the day in January in terms of our prospects.
