An odd game. We looked in total control until PvA's error and then we were awful. The second half we just fell apart and everyone started hiding from the ball. However, despite how awful we were for the last hour, the score-line still flattered Bristol City.

Result aside, it shows what a joke competition this cup is. We would have been in the Q/F had we won and yet we still changed all but one player. Even Bristol City rested players.

Don't worry folks - losing to Brizzle ain't that bad - last time we lost 4 goals to them we went on a 10 match un-beaten run. Also it sparked off our Championship winning side as well in 93/94 !

Well that's OK then Now expect us to thrash WH on Saturday and then go on an unbeaten run till Christmas.
Feel better already!

Absolutely disgusting performance. They were there for the taking and we shipped four goals to them. A couple of decent performances in the first half hour but the only thing it reminds me of is that cricket match in Antigua in I think 1993 when England needed 141 to beat the West Indies and were bowled out for 46.

It's fair enough to play a second string team in the league cup when you're struggling for points but this lot dragged the badge through the mud.

Ten days ago we saw Wilf, Andros, Sakho et al run through walls to turn the champions over. One of our best performances in recent times.

Tonight was one of our worst.

Only because the clubs make it so themselves. Winners get a Europa Cup place and if they then win that competition it's straight into the Champions League.

Not to be sniffed at for half-decent clubs. Why they do though is puzzling. The glory is there for the winners.

Wolves don't seem to think so. Putting up a solid performance against a pretty good Man City. Could easily have won it but for Bravo. 3 one on one saves including injury time.

Listening to the radio, some of the Palace players went over to our supporter's at the final whistle. Possibly Puncheon, threw his shirt into the crowd, and it got thrown back to him...

It was soaure

Terrible performance, especially PVA. Unlikely, but if he plays on Saturday West Ham will target him for sure.

We have a 'Player of the Year', We should have a 'Wnkr of the Year'too. Competition would be fierce for that!

If Hodgson picks him again in the near future when Schlupp and Souare are available then he needs his f***ing bumps felt. Worst performance by anyone in a Palace shirt for years, and that includes Ledley's shocking display against Sunderland last season.

You just about get over the post-Saturday depression, build yourself up for a positive Tuesday evening game .... then this.....

I did hear that Wayne put his head in his hands after the game .... and dropped it!

Anyway, I guess Roy knows what his first choice team is now.

I'm off to bed. Hope I don't have a dream.... it'll be bad.

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.
