The game seemed to change on the obvious PVA mistake but also the introduction of their big striker Duric. Tomkins and Kelly couldn't handle him with Kelly seemingly more interested in holding Duric than attacking the ball for their 2nd goal - similar to the Abrahams goal for Swansea.

Let's just be thankful neither of them will start on Saturday vs Carol.

Oh yes the prolific Duric, first start this season and 51 goals largely in Serie B in 287 games. Frazier Campbell has a far better goal scoring record than that in 2 less games incidentally.

Such a result was always going to happen within present affairs. Concentration must be placed upon Premiership survival with cup competitions , especially Carabao Cup proving to be glamour additions.
PLEASED that Hodgson did effectively run out Second XI who did capitulate showing their true level of ability. TRUTH is that we still don't have depth in squad.

Saturday's game vs. West Ham AT HOME is an altogether different proposition - we lost in similar fixture last season yet MUST win on Saturday. This is equivalent to FA Cup Final...without recognised, experienced striker at this level, given reliance upon Benteke and injury equalling no bail out plan.

Sako deserves his chance to make a name for himself given the trust to date placed upon him...

I'm pretty sure Sako's was one of Roy's "very few" performances that made him think about his first team selection. Hard to choose him ahead of Townsend in our current striker-free front 2 though....although he did everything he could last night and looks a) in very good form and b) a bit lighter around the middle.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Bristol City paid £1.5 Mill for him from Cesena.Don't think he has played much this season.A striker who is capable of playing up front on his own or in a 2 man strike force.

He has been out injured since pre season, this was his 1st game back our physio's said he should have a max of 20 mins!
