Actually a decent result. 8/11 of those guys shouldn’t see the pitch in the prem with any regularity. We don’t have any distractions from our main priority, the league. Pape souare got some minutes. Imagine if we’d have won and puncheon had scored or did ok. He’d be in with a shout for a starting berth this weekend. Not a bad result at all.

It's not possible for Puncheon to do OK and he hasn't scored for eighteen months despite being picked all the time. It'll take more than one match to convince Hodgson that he isn't s***. the only positive I can see is that even with a 2nd string team Hodgson still didn't pick Mutch. So that makes him about 8th choice midfielder in Roy's eyes. I would agree.

Thought Roy's post match comments were spot on - he learnt a lot last night about our squad of players and am sure will be keen to move at least half a dozen on in January - if we can find any takers.

Lads, I was at the game last night and we actually looked decent in the first half hour until PVA decided to gift them a goal. RLC was Ok for about half hour but gives the ball away far too much. Sako tried his best and actually looked sharp. Chungy should have his contract torn up, he is an awful football player who contributes nothing. Hennessy is a man who's confidence is shattered. At least now everyone of one us should know that we have an excellent first 11 when all fit but after that we are threadbare.

Points wise you are correct but in terms of the supposed quality around the fringes of the first team it clearly is pertinent. None of these players are going to leave in Jan due to their salaries and takers and frankly a huge amount of them looked awful last night against lower league opposition.
