Fans have let the club down this season aswell

The amount of money in the game has changed the landscape though. Expectations are far higher than ever before and so they should considering the difference between what players earn a week and the average fan. Couple that with the terrible Home form of the last few years, is it any wonder sections of the crowd have had enough?! Seems some of our fans expect us to be like a load of happy clappy born again Christians singing at the top of our voices regardless what is going on around us in the real world!!!!

Not at all but there's a time and place for it. I'm not advocating blowing smoke up their arses but encouraging them. The money argument is a different matter altogether. Fact is, they earn the going rate for their profession albeit the numbers are obscene compared to normal folk. Perhaps if they were more accountable for it then we'd see a different game altogether.

It's pretty much accepted that the club gets the best support in the league. They wouldn't get the support here that they get at other clubs. Despite the lack of effort some of the players have shown over the 18 months. Hennessey and Kelly have been a disgrace and PVA will be in that club soon. Unconditional support doesn't seem to be working.
