They are very unique in this, and have been developing it got years. Can you imagine this happening at palace?

I think this was a rhetorical question !

I generally try and stay away from HOL when something like this happens and you can almost guarantee the over the top reactions you'll get here. It's getting the same as in real life too, but I think West Ham will compound any feeling about that I have

The reaction to the game on Tuesday has been ridiculous. It was a game of our second string players bar a couple against an in form Bristol City side. Yes we were dog s***, but if that means that we can concentrate more on the league, then I don't care. I was there and some of the things done were terrible, but we need to accept the facts of that game.

I think that's a little unfair. We actually played some good football in the first half as a team. Individual errors then let us down .

On many occasions this season. From burning Brighton flags, abusing chairman on twitter. Wishing death on Hennessey and hoping he’s still injured. Throwing soaure shirt back at him after his recovery. Singing Speroni name when Hennessey in goal yesterday. It become a far to regular occurrence. I feel it getting worse game by game.

Anyone else feeling this

Fans are not paid huge amounts by the club to give their best. Its the other way around. The fans pay their money and are entitled to say what they want whether you/I agree with them. Lefties that take the moral high ground make me laugh. We're all preached to about tolerance. Until they see something they wont tolerate!
You might not agree with some of the things the Palace fans have said/done. I wouldn't say I would either but last time I looked it was a free country. As long as no one is being physically attacked and no laws are being broken its actually got nothing to do with you. Unless someone appointed you king of Palace fans when I wasn't looking?

No excuse for rudeness or personal abuse. We all make mistakes, no one is lesser or greater than another.
This season has been probably one of the most frustrating since I started watching them in 1958.
Have a go at the team when we feel they need a kick up the backside and that is just part of being a football fan, but don't be nasty with it.
Respect in life is important.

Saddest of all is that in the aftermath of the Souare shirt incident, it seems that its our "support the club at all costs, no matter what" HF brigade that were/are responsible.

I disagree on that point. If the media said 'Old Johnny Knobhead, that Palace fan, should not have done that' fine but in reality a whole group of fans get tarred with the same brush. Call me a Snowflake but I for one would rather not have that association made.

Hang on a min, your saying we shouldn't be booing the players or slag them off for not doing what they get paid for ??

But its ok to boo and slag off the opposition when we feel like it yes ??

In the real world if you was at work and you couldn't do your job properly, and you got a written warning for being useless.

Because you got a written warning you have lost your confidence in doing your job, was the Manager wrong in giving you a written warning,??

Your first point is the real difference between a fan & a supporter. You have every right to bitch & moan but don't do it when the players need support & encouragement. Do it down the pub, at work or on social meeeeja.

Secondly, unless things have really changed, if you get a written warning at work it's a private matter & does not give everyone else in the firm the right to abuse you every shift. Perhaps I'm wrong & the next time I hear of it happening to someone I should expect a tirade of abuse across their Facebook/instagram/snapchat accounts.

As a supporter you can only do one thing to help the team - rock up & support them like we can do. Folk are (quite rightly) talking about the Chelski game but even that didn't hit the heights of Arsenal last season - that was as close to the old 'Fortress Selhurst' days as we've seen in a while.

Take Crystanbul - 3-0 down, dead & buried but the crowd just kept going & going. Every player in that team that was interviewed after said it was the 'twelfth man' that lifted the performance & just look where that got us.

I might not like what I'm seeing but I'm damned if I'm gonna vent at the team on match day when they need us most.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

No ... I think our supporters have been very patient for nearly two years now. Personally, I would not abuse the team or individuals but I still get angry when I see some of our antics on the pitch.

It's a vocal minority. Not the masses.

In actual fact I think you will find it's the other way round. We have been very let down this season.

That's not to say any of the behaviour is justifiable, I hope whoever threw paps shirt back got a right kicking from those around him.

Oh you're so funny!!!!

In seriousness, Suckling was a very good keeper until that night which did in his confidence as the press made him a scapegoat even though the goals weren't his fault (sounds familiar?). His debut at home to Huddersfield was perhaps the best display I've ever seen by a Palace keeper.

I have to say I agree that night ruined a promising career I remember being so excited having the England Under-21 goalkeeper sign for us, such a shame
