im sure we will do it, but it wont be easy.

like ive said in the last 5 pre-seasons, i will be happy with staying up on goal difference

You're SURE? If Benteke is available tomorrow then I would be too.

Thing is, only 75 mins before this post you said 'it's getting harder to think this season will end up smelling of roses.'

Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself so you can say you're sure. You're not are you?

i was stating what the reporter from talksport was saying, im sure you will agree that 14/28 games sounds like an uphill struggle.

like i said tho in reality, 35 points should keep us up, 11 wins sounds much more reasonable right now.

not sure what your point is

It is what it f***ing is Rudi. Your constant bellyaching about SP's failure to get a back up striker etc etc etc is getting boring. Everybody knows we are in the mire ...so get behind the team and try and be a SUPPORTER.

Thank you. That is how it happened. The philosophy article you can't argue with but you can doubt we can do it but hope we do seeing as he's already been hired. I didn't post one post saying I wanted him hired and didn't place one pound on him being hired.

I thought when he was hired that I was the fool for not hedging on a 4th potential manager. Months later I saw the 1st sacking odds during the summer friendlies but didn't feel like it even though Frank was 25/1. Felt stupid again when he was sacked when remembering that 25/1 moment but at least the original bet was correct in some kind of way (it didn't work).

I want any manager to succeed or stay in the job because if not then we're in the sh1t (same for Pardew). I even wanted a game by game appraisal after Burnley but I would've been secretly contacting other managers whilst Frank was hopefully bringing a trickle of points in whilst creating a training ground atmosphere we're not ready for without real competition for places.

Ffs haven't you posted enough about this on the parish thread. You've made you'd f*****g point. Give it a rest.

All I've done is read your posts and in the space of 75 mins you went from pessimism regarding our chances to you being sure.

And nobody can be sure anyway because of several variables. Tomorrow's result, injuries, Benteke's return, fitness, form, goal return, luck. So, so many things. We've scored 1 goal ourselves ffs. Nobody can be sure.

Those tw&ts can't work a calculator. 3 or 4?of them including Goldstein, Cundy and possibly moose didn't know that you had to type in 40 divided by matches left, then total to get points average and then times by 38 to get what that form would be over a season to see the extent of the task ahead. Cundy knows a thing or 2 being an ex pro but some of the others do not.

This. I think Roy's here until the end of his contract - whatever happens. If we go down I think he'll take a crack at getting up straight back up and will not renew if we don't bounce back up

Hope Parish & Co don't mess up if we get relegated, but keep Roy, clear out the dead material and sell those not wanting to try to promote us. And lift some of the youngsters into to the 25 A-squad. Relegation not the end of world and why not, have a plan B IF we go down?

Yes and we have a great run in against teams which should be home and dry with nothing to play for. I can see us going on a run at the end and obtaining many of the necessary wins at the death.

We'll obviously need to pick many up before then but we will, the Palace fight back started and it'll continue. No doubt with some setbacks but we'll be alright!

Roy will stay. No need for another manager. He will turn things around. Only hope the injured key players are back soon, cause we need them all as things stands.
Otherwise the performance in our last two leauge matches are as good as it can get, but we need to keep them up and hopefully we get another win today against WH.
Up the Eagles.
