I think he had to pick PvA to give him a chance to make amends, plus having both him and Schlupp does add extra cover. Sakho is a big miss but it gives Tomkins a chance to step up against his old club. TFM can come on for either him or Ward if they have a bad game, which is good. Since Zaha has been back I always feel like we have a chance, even if on paper this looks like another difficult afternoon. Zaha-RLC-Townsend Perhaps another Roy tactical master plan? I cross my trembling fingers! COYP!!

If him, why not Puncheon etc. He had his chance to make amends v Newcastle 2nd half and blew it Having said that hope he scores the winner

Anyone heard anything on Sakho - what is the injury, how long out? What is it with us and injuries and always with key players - Zaha, Benteke, Sakho... With a squad so shallow on quality as midweek proved - it really hurts us. Oh well we are where we are - let's get behind Roy and the boys. COYP..!!
