loved Hillaire, and Wrighty is my all time Palace hero

However in all my 44 years of supporting Palace there has never been a player as good as Wilf.

In my humble opinion of course
parrot

Wrighty & dougie.
Seriously!?
You've named 4 strikers, doughie is easily the bottom of that pack, no way is he on par with wrighty. Nor could he be compared with zaha, different fcuking class my friend.

hold up my channel 4 puppet friend...its all subjective isnt it matey

butterfield is one of my all time favourite players and its got nowt to do with his hat-trick v wolves, behind zaha, pape smurf is my favourite current player.

im not saying freedman is as good as wrighty or better than AJ, but god damn he has some touch & technique on ball, better than clinton or AJ could ever do, that personally means more to me.

infact if i was to make a top 10 i garuantee either marco reich or andre moritz would be in there, just for, the way they manipulated the ball whilst at their feet, those on their own insignificant moments cant be discarded because they wernt as good as “terrace heros”.

i would still to this day say a classy CB like leon cort ranks above paddy mac in the grand scheme of things.

and still 10 years on i dont think ive seen a better executed goal than moses overhead kick v barnsley!

horses for courses fella.

Just for the record...
Moritz, yes.
Paddy mac, pub team standard, even I rank above him.
Moses, the man features in the bible for fcuks sake!
Butterfields hat trick should too
And a fully fit pape should be our left back, he's like a spicy Dean Gordon.

I'll repeat your words not because I am a parrot, but because you answer your own questions within your comments.
Your right dougie was, "at those times", very good. As a palace player, he's a legend. For the goals he scored, and times he scored them. He was a great striker for us.
Zaha however is a different class. I'm sure dougie would agree. You should ask him, not me.

to be fair my furry puppet friend, if zaha continues his progression over the next few months he will overtake both of them woth ease.

what hes added since feb/march is end product and because of that, you can physically see the opposition s*** thenselves when he runs at them! thats exciting to watch.

ive already said hes the technically gifted player ever, just beeds to carry in this consistancy to be best ever

Perhaps the best description of any Palace player, ever.

Sorry Ian - your 150 goals, many spectacular, and all round play and always giving 100%. - always- has been usurped by 25 goals and a sometimes absolutely fantastic player.

Zaha is an outstanding talent... No doubt about that at all... Although for me he really didn't start to show it consistently until last season where he gave us an excellent return in terms of goals and assists.

For me though, despite it only being for 2 seasons Lombardo was technically and mentally the finest footballer to ever pull on a Palace shirt.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
