He would of offered something different to the other wingers in the team. Hope RLC takes this chance, especially against Germany as I am going, but just praying he doesn't get an injury. The lack of a call up for Andros, the constant inclusion of Lingard, playing people out of position and the whole situation with Wilf - with the England camp bitching about his commitment following his decision to play for IC, just further underlines that Southgate is a cr*p manager who doesn’t actually know what he’s doing, in my opinion.

I don’t think he deserves the call up...he’s shown flashes when he has the ball. I think off the ball RLC could improve his game.. Townsend and Zaharia have been our best performers.... Southgate simply fell out with Zaha when in the U21’s ...bad management

You could argue that he chose the IC as he wants to actually win something at international level.... It certainly looks like Southgate is trying to bring through those players he knows performed at U21 level despite what their clubs are doing. Guess he feels they can do the job he wants them to. I was intrigued by the news bulletin i heard on Radio 2 yesterday - described Abraham as "Swansea's Tammy Abraham who is on loan from Chelsea" whereas RLC was simply "Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek". Muppets.

What has he done to deserve an England call up ? To me he's 2 years off being a proper player, let alone an international. Sorry but I just don't get the huge love in with RLC. YES he is talented and YES he has a future. But an international NOW..? Not for me.

Look this is the highest level of football you can play at, and i just can't see how he's earned that. Whats it say to Townsend whos clearly been playing better.... They assume these lads playing for Chelsea are the future and yet they've DONE NOTHING YET.... Complete joke...

I've said it for a couple of weeks and Chelsea fans have also said it. He's a long way off from having a end product. Years away IMO. Good talent with technical ability for sure. But a international.
I'll go further in saying that we are just doing Chelsea's hard work for them. And he needs to start earning that first team place, don't we have our own lads that also haven't done ANYTHING yet?
