I go to the gym to use the running machine (5km in 23mins 17 seconds today - not bad for nearly age 59).

But I admit that the visit is enhanced when there are young lovelies in attendance.

Need to fit exercise into my daily routine, that times blocked out, doesn’t matter how busy work is, that times set aside, usually get there at 7ish, but if work was too much I’d get in the gym at 6. If I didn’t go I know my work would suffer as I’d be more wound up and my head wouldn’t be right. I’ve always exercised, but started the gym the day I stopped manual labour, Im now just driving about all day. It was a decision to either be a fat f**ker driving about eating steak bakes all or start watching what I eat and going to the gym.
It was vanity based to start with as I wouldn’t be happy if I was out of shape , but smashing the f*ck out of a punch bag is better than clumping one of your staff. Plus the punch bag doesn’t hit back

Not exercise related but anxiety related.

Wireless headphones with very loud dance music on this morning has helped me feel a little better.
