Beyound mental...

Sack our manager who has kicked us in to shape and playing the best football in a very long time. To get Pulis back..? The guy who left us in the s*** and plays s*** football.

I cannot fathom how anyone would want Pulis back, let alone when Roy is obviously doing a great job.

Blimey we'd be in the crap if that happened!

I don't get how poaching managers mid season is even leagal? Hope there's a big buy out clause in his contract. Hopefully Roy has more class than that should it come to happen...

Stick with Roy. He has got us to the first step as performances have clearly improved since the beginning of the season and we are scoring and picking up points. The next 7 games are crucial, need to win 4 in my opinion, which on paper looks possible. Depending on where we are after this flipping him may not be an option, either ways.

Ridiculous thread. Yes results are frustrating but performances are so much better.

Totally agree.... The last 4/5 games are the best I've seen us play for some time. We're not getting the breaks and giving away stupid goals. Nothing Roy can do about that.

I've been impressed with how he has us playing.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

A definite yes we must stick with him. As has already been said we are now playing the best football for ages which is down to him. Results have not come for a wide variety of reasons , poor finishing, poor Ref. Decisions, poor player decisions , good play by the opposition, quality of the players etc etc
As far as I can see he has not been responsible for our lack of points it has been down to the players.

I think Roy's smashing it. I thought he would be a safe pair of hands but hes exceded expectation for me. Playing some really fluid football and quicker passing that under FDB. Give him a month with Benteke back and RLC playing in the 10 with Wilf and Andros rotating around them well get some wins! The improvement in Cabaye and Dann too is clear due to coaching both looke fitter. Dropping punch and Henessey, although obvious to manyb was still brave. He talks sense in the press too. Loved the quote "Football is a constant wedding followed by a funeral" he made the other week. Apart from Wardy still getting in the starting side and id play RLC central I think hes been spot on and believe we can get out of trouble just! I do fear the Footballing gods may be against us this season but not much Roy can do about that or the poor summer windows that Parish made leaving us with poor full backs, a dodgy keeper and no striker!

It is a bit like a jigsaw, things are slowly falling into place and the final product will evolve. I'm very happy with Roy and Ray and I think we will stay up at the expense of Swansea,Huddersfield and Brighton,West Brom and West Ham are in full kamikaze mode, Bournemouth will also finish lower than us.

Throw in Southampton there gonna have a shocking season, their manager who was so nearly ours=, hasn't got a clue and it wont be long before there in trouble and hitting the panic button too.

I actually think sorting the hash of a mistake that was FdB early will put us above the six teams above us who are all shocking and we should end up not having to worry come the end of the season.

Far more teams in a worse state, other than having a few more wins under their belts.

Palace under Roy are on the up.

Correct me if i'm wrong but everyone around us lost this weekend, now 3 points would have been great but a point does close the gap a tad and thats what its all about...

please can we keep Roy. He seems to enjoy what his team is doing - two goals for all of the last three home matches.

He did comment on Everton's 26 fouls and their cheating. I hope he will ask the team to build on their currently super play - three goals in first thirty minutes - or perhaps two in first ten with second by twenty-five minutes - will be the needed confidence boosting tonic the team needs.

Can easily see it turning really toxic there.

2 year contract plus the shocking start we had made me believe that time decision was made by Steve and him in case the worst should happen so he also has the chance to get us back to The Prem.

Definitely stick. No matter what division we are in.
