Can't believe it's not been mentioned yet but then it is people's opinions but for me Moseley Shoals by Ocean Colour Scene was one of the finest albums of the 90s.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

a couple that stand out and are/were iconic at the time and certainly are albums of my childhood/early youth..

Dangerous - Michael Jackson. Was at junior school when this came out and everyone in my class (well, the boys anyway) had it and played it non-stop.

You've Come a Long Way, Baby - Fat Boy Slim. Not sure how well it's dated but it's one everyone (my age) owned at the time.

The Score - Fugees.

Several friends of mine were in a band called Slowdive who toured with, and were close mates with members of Ride. Hung out with them quite a lot.

I remember Slowdive. I didn't have any of there stuff but I'm fairly certain I saw them live once (possibly supporting the house of love??)

Best punning title from them was 24 Hours From Tulse Hill (where I went to school).
