His Ex-manager Bobby Gould refers to him as "Sparky" as he used to be an electrician.

Used to have a lady in one of the offices I worked in known as "Kronenbourg" - she looked 16 from behind, but 64 from the front

I cannot recall the name of the striker, but he had the nickname 'Jigsaw' because he went to pieces in the box.

Fitz Hall 'One size'.

I am still laughing at that one. I suspect that could be applied to a number of our strikers over the years.

In my last few jobs job I was called Pikey, Joe Mangel, Mrs Mangel, Big Boss,Lurkio, Lurch

When I catch up with my old work colleagues there's:
Handbag, Crozzers, Boards, B-Dog, Tammers, O-Dog and his girlfriend Marwell, Chips, SAF, Duckman, Mr Bumblemoose and Basher.

It's very rare I call anyone by their proper name or the other way round.

Love a good nickname!

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

A 'teacher' at my old school. Obviously put out to pasture. Seemed to be 110 years old, shuffled down the corridor at a quarter of a mile per year. White hair, half deaf, half blind, half soft in the head. Always seemed to be on death's door. Spoke at a micro-decibel volume. toothless. Wobbly hands, wobbly jaw.

nickname : Speedy.
