Blimey even a humourless sourpuss like me could see that was tongue in cheek and whilst you may claim that there are people who would actually believe it there was only one who got whoooooshed

I thought from the off they looked like they were there for the taking. We could've had them in our back pocket at 0-2 up or more by half time if we were clicking, but because we haven't had Benteke in and fit, or any striker for that matter, we're not and don't look like we're about to at any minute. Hopefully we do quickly in coming games to get those few wins before the probable bleak Christmas.

There was little quality on show last night with both teams well organised and cancelling each other out. Thr impression I had was that both teams were more interested in not losing than really wanting to win.

That said, in our current situation, an away draw with a clean sheet is a good result for us. The team looks increasingly cohesive, well organised and resilient and the run of 9 points from 7 games will have increased the confidence in the squad as well as pulling us up the table to be in touching distance of the other struggling teams.

We are still in a very difficult situation, but I am hopeful that the light in the distance may be the end of the tunnel and not a train coming towards us.
