Should we sell Benteke in Jan...?

Make sure we have 2 strikers to sign in January (work on it, Dougie) - and sell Tekkers. He has simply lost itwith us....and our play is so static with hopeful hoof balls to the big Belgian.

Its one of the very few things I blame Pardew for, but to be fair he proved his worth for us last season. Time for him to move on now.

Remember him having long barren spells for Villa. Hopefully he comes good and rediscovers his form of last season which he needs to. Sign another 2 strikers in January and it might shift him up a gear if he’s benched for a few games.

That was his first start, he produced some decent flick-ons, one of which produced our best chance of the game, and aside from that the service to him was almost non existent. By contrast Murray did nothing, fouled a few people and then got subbed. Last night was not a great game for forwards at either end. One thing seems certain, if Bentenke doesn't perform and Roy thinks he has options then he won't be in the team. Personally I think Bentenke just needs a goal to get him going again.
