Don't knock it. If you create extra profiles on Championship Manager, then add them as managers to foreign clubs, you can unsettle top players so Palace can buy them at bargain rates. At least you could in the old version...

Jesus wept! We need to get an extra two strikers into the club in January, not sell the only one we have. Especially off the back of him being anonymous in his first full game in 2 months, during which he was barely provided with a decent cross.

Certainly don't think selling him is a good idea, not in January anyway. Got to give him some credit in the bank for goals last year and that hes still more than likely building up fitness/sharpness.

Everyone moaned about the fact that we don't have a striker when he was injured and now we should sell the most prolific player we have had at the club in years.

He is off form but coming back from injury and there really is no one out there and even if there was, how can anyone guarantee that a new striker would do the business.

He's a good striker and is more than capable of getting 15 goals a season.

Christian needs focus and confidence. So far his return (one quarter, one half, and one full game) has been encouraging. He seems to have moved on from the striker mentality, and is seen all over the pitch occupying opposition and leaving the rest of the team more space to worry opposition. When the rest of our team causes fear Christian will become freer to do his magic. He is settled and seems to be listening to Roy. Do not sell, use him to help all to compete for their match day places. Certainly, a new striker could be a prima donna, Christian is becoming a team player. COYP
