Wow, my dubious political views. Please explain what my political views are and in what way they are dubious. I assume you aren't going to assert that conservative with a small c is the same as Conservative.

My views are quite clear. I don't trust people or organisations that have an agenda and spin the truth because they otherwise have something to lose.

I also don't like to see people picking on Willo but I understand why they find it frustrating that he doesn't see the agenda laden information that is being put out in the media. I remember very clearly the Hull debacle for example.

Everyone pushing through the turnstile was a hoodlum, ne'er do well or some other antiquated term you find endearing. That none of them had tickets. That it was this incident that caused the turnstiles to be closed...

You simply can't have it both ways.

I would like to wait until the facts of this situation are known before making rash comments.
As is usual, people with fixed views will always come down on their own side. Statements such as "ticketless fans stormed a turnstile" are typical of lazy reporting.
If fans jumped over turnstiles and got into the ground, how do we know that they were ticketless.

I flew in from Amsterdam for the game....I arrived in Brighton just before 7pm and the station was surrounded by police.
Palace fans were being marched up the side of the station to be herded in to one train and delivered to Falmer.
However I’m on the wrong side of a baying mob and can’t get through the police lines. Tried walking round.... through the enemy but unable to.
At about 7:10pm I gave up and walked to the lanes and got a taxi.
Dropped me off 10 minutes walk from the ground and made it on foot by 7:30pm.
A lot of people on that train didn’t get on because of the trouble outside as Everyone arrived at the Away turnstile it all went off.
At least two fire exits were opened and palace fans getting in to the ground through them. 5 or six people got in and jumped over the turnstile which I saw myself. not Hf people I might add.
The away end was the Locked down with law abiding supporters who gonto every game locked outside. Just after kick off another fireball fire exit gate was opened and about 30 people got in, I didn’t witness this myself but seen the video and some people are holding tickets in their hands. If I was outside with a ticket , being told I couldn’t come in then I think I would have come in this way too 🤷🏼‍♂️.
The police said that they had been told by BHAFC that nooone can come in.
Most marched back to the station but those that managed to stay around were let in at halftime, including some of my close football mates.

I hope this sheds a bit more fact on the subject as there is a lot of blaming going on here.

One last thing..... if football clubs are going to refuse entry to law abiding peaceful supporters from a particular team because of the behaviour of a few .....isn’t that discrimination. I know that BHAFC will hide behind the stadium safety cars, but football is nothing without the supporters. Once the situation was under control (which should have been easy with the extraordinary amount of police on duty).... it would have been easy to check people’s tickwts one at a time and let them in.... but that would have been too sensible.
Instead loyal football fans who go week in week out weee punishes or victimised maybe? I can’t help thinking that BHAFC were thinking good leave them all out there. That’s not the right way to treat paying supporters from any club.

Imagine the uproar if that situation was applied to a minority group?

But somehow it’s okay to do tha because “all football fans are tarred with the same brush again”...... it’s okay to treat people like this because they are football fans? Errr no it’s not.
