Words fail me, but any other club would have given him the boot a long, long time before we did.

Agree!

I don't think he was as bad as people made out and we need to make sure we don't get ahead of ourselves.

Given that it's his first game this is possibly the worst time to play them.

He took Jedinak, stripped him of the captaincy, benched him then sold him. He failed to ensure that the team was properly conditioned, didn't bother working on defensive drills - especially set-piece defending - and forced a squad of players uncomfortable on the ball at this level to play like Barcelona. No win was enough that it couldn't be thrown away in pursuit of a bigger one, and no point was respected.

It's not a coincidence that his success with the club was early on, and then it dwindled to the point of the team being unable to play for 90 minutes.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

I thought that he had opened up a Peacock farm ? Suspect they will have to spend a few bob on widening the doors at the Hawthorns. Somebody on Radio 5 live mentioned that he hadn't been given a fair crack of the whip here !?!

We need to do well on Saturday regardless of who's WBA manager.
However I'd love to see our players celebrate a goal with 'the dance'.

I personally don't think their squad is that good. They should've stuck with Pulis. Pardew and that squad is a huge gamble.

They don't score that many goals - open the floodgates at the back and could be a massacre there.

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ definitely. Fast start possibly, however wait until after Christmas when they no longer do training and are overweight, unfit and become more interested in the local nightclubs than the next match and we'll probably get the true picture.

Yes I must admit we did lose in a very entertaining manner as we were hurtling down towards the Championship.

We were never in the relegation zone under Pardew.

Parish should have paid Bolasie the big wages and Pards would still be here.

This.

Some sense at last.

Pard-bashers are never able to deal with one question: would he have done as well [or better?] than BFS with Schlupp, PvA, Luca and Sakho?

Firstly, there's no way he would have known where to get such players in the first place, especially Milivojevic; secondly his game management, man management and fitness methods would have pardewed anyone.

I really hope that the rumour about Jedinak grabbing Pards up against the wall by his collar is true. A man of integrity and honour who was treated like s***e by the self proclaimed Palace legend in Pards. t***.

Pardew, the nodding donkey puppet to every Parish word. He's actually as much at fault if this were the case.

On the Bolasie issue. We brought in another winger in Townsend, only Pardew made him worse, he looked like he didn't care and there was a left v right side issue with AT and Zaha. Sam and Sammy Lee solved that cr@p.

The only player Pardew improved was Zaha, probably because he's going to improve anyway. Every other he made worse, destroyed, sold or tried to sell.
