When have we ever had food banks and so many loan shops in low socio economic areas because I've not seen or heard of so many ever before.

One thing that doesn't help is the availability of credit to start personal debt spiralling but that keeps people in low paid jobs turning up.

I'm sure I heard Farage say on Andrew Marr that grammar schools were succeeding with social mobility. Maybe if you're already able to move to the grammar school area and/or hire the private tutor because junior schools don't teach and train on the entrance questions. COYP

A debt based society allows people buy things that they couldn't before. If they borrow more than they can afford, who's fault is that?

All but a tiny percentage of people have no concept of real poverty these days in Britain.
Sadly, many of them have no concept of how to manage money or prioritise spending either.

Credit is debt. Relying on credit is impossible. You have to pay it back.

Watch the figures about poverty ( as and when you provide them) rise.
This will be due to people being EXPECTED to be responsible for paying their own rent.
