Let’s not forget that’s RLC is at the World Cup because of the form he showed during game time he got with us. Perhaps he will be aware of this and fancy some more of it.

I agree, BUT, not until chelski sort out there managerial position(whenever that may be). Till that happens RLC & plenty of other CFC players will want to see who comes in, if anyone.

Do we have a realistic chance of signing him, will the fee etc be too much, will RH/SP even want him(for, imo, an inflated price)

Just asking

As others have said... he walks in to the Chelsea first team...

Although if for some bizarre reason he doesn’t... who knows.

The last top quality player we gave a platform on loan to develop his game was A.Cole. He never gave us a second thought after he returned, RLC will be the same, he will want Champions league football and he isn't going to get it at Selhurst Park.

Neither will he get that at Stamford bridge

We’re a safer option for first team premiership football.

I don't think Conte rates him as highly as others. If he did, he doesn't buy Barkley. However, the unsettled situation at Chelski doesn't bode well for our chances of getting RLC back even if he wants to come.

If we could afford £30 million and Chelski would accept then he is well worth it, as if he stays fit he'll be worth double that within two years. In his relatively limited amount of PL game time he has grown tremendously and his pace, power and passing ability makes him ideally suited to the PL. I really can't see how it would happen though, unless he has fallen in love with our wonderful club.

Abramovich has turned off the money tap at Chelsea so imo Conte will stay but he doesn’t seem to want RLC in the team. In this case the player will want to move on. With his injury history last season potential buyers ( including us ) are going to be cautious. A lot will depend on how much game time he gets in Russia so nothing is going to happen until he comes home.

I personally think that the Chelsea hierarchy will decide to retain him for at least one more season and will loan him out again but not to a competitor which would boost our chances of doing a deal. Hope I’m right.

He will go to a Champions League club for a minimum of £50m. People need to except, he is out of reach financially and his ambitions.
We were just a stepping stone for him.

Could offer £20m plus Benteke.....

No chance unless someone at Chelsea is drunk but yes he’d be well worth £35m IMO.

If he has a storming World Cup I could see Jose buying him for United for stupid money.

Personally would rather have him than Lingard or Deli...
