Instead of them going into meltdown just give us full allocation and treat us like sensible supporters, might surprise them.

This of course is the key. They and the Police f***ed it up by trying to be clever making it a midweek game (allowing people to drink all day) and then restricting tickets.

Give us a full allocation and either push for it being on TV or have rings of security around the place allowing people to get there in good time rather than causing a bottleneck outside the ground.

They have to give us 25% of the tickets and please Roy play the first team for this game.

Not sure if this is still in date, but it says 15%

So at their place 4,500. Still a v large allocation, mind.

But it says subject to safety and stuff. And they'll be adamant such a large following is unsafe due to what happened. And we won't argue.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

That's from one of their more reasonable contributors, another wants Sussex police to club Palace supporters like beached baby seals on the grounds that you can't take any chances.

Bexley Dave

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

Yet another cowardly weed suggested charging all away tickets at 52 quid, until someone pointed out that the rules are that tickets have to be the same price as home fans prices!! Really are moronic down at Falmer!!

Ho-hum. Truth is that FA Cup is nowhere near a priority even in Jan with the need to move away from relegation and build up team in winter transfer window. If we'd prepared and started season well, then I'd be all up for Cup comps, but we surely lack depth in full quad to compete in all areas of competition?

This is an interesting wrinkle that I was mulling last night: which club has the stronger 2nd XI?

Of course, this assumes that the Weed won't hoist that chip on their shoulder high and proud, and put out a full strength team just because it's us. I'm hoping that Roy is sensible and plays this like any other Premiership team would an early-round FA Cup tie, and play the subs.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

They certainly have more numbers in the 'Forwards' department.
They can call on Murray, Hemed,Baldock,Murphy and Brown.
And they have 3 goalkeepers in Ryan, Krul and Maenpaa.
