Wombledown might be quite fun for a derby. They've just dumped the clowns out.

I went to the Mansfield away game in the 70's that Sansbup has written about. I remember the buses and the trip out to the ground. I am pretty sure it finished 1-1 and Peter Taylor played and scored for us. Happy days - we were a very big fish in the old third division. I hope that I never have to see us play at that level again! As for this year, I fancy Brentford away. Easy to get to and lots of pubs surrounding the ground.

Brentford have only lost 1 of their 10 Home league games ! I remember from the old days being informed that Brentford was the only ground with a pub at each corner but I don't know if this is the case now.

When I went last season there certainly were still 4 at each corner, however only 3 were open for the home game against their West London rivals. Great ground for atmosphere Griffin Prk. Originally posted by Willo
