So you logic on this is that most Muslims don't blow people up and have varying attitudes to their religion so that means that all things Muslim are good and should not be criticised at all and any bad things Muslims do should be hushed up just in case some 'ignorant' people view other Muslims with suspicion as a result.

I'm glad you noticed this; it would seem that the conviction rate for rape in Sweden is appallingly low in relation to reported figures, and this has led some people who wish to score anti-immigrant points to conflate the relatively high "reported" rape figures with greater immigrant numbers.
However; Sweden introduced a much different way of collating rape numbers in recent years; e.g. if a husband rapes his wife every day for a year which she then reports him, it is recorded as 365 rapes, rather than as one rape as in many other countries, including the UK. Sweden also classifies other sex crimes as rape, whereas countries like the UK classify these as "sexual assault". Clearly semantics.
Sweden has also attempted to make it much easier for people to report sex attacks than many other countries (correctly so), but not as many result in convictions proportionally.
The salient point is that Sweden is NOT the rape capital of Europe, greater immigrant numbers have NOT lead to a greater number of rapes proportionally and writers such as the chap the OP suggest is some sort of an authority on this topic have miss-represented stats in support of a flawed argument.

I think you miss the point, deliberately or otherwise, which is that it is unfair, undemocratic and unjust to blame all Muslims and Islam, for the failings of some people - especially when we don't use the same focus on ethnicity or religion, for similar offences.

Those who commit these acts are scum of the highest order - Tarring normal law abiding citizens by association is brutally unfair.
