Ronaldo in the Euros was a case in point: all petulant and stroppy at the beginning when they played poorly against Iceland, only started playing when they looked like going out, preening himself in the final. I'd much rather watch Zaha, personally. I take it you are having a laugh.

If Stoke go down this season, we should try to get Butland. If Newcastle go down, take a look at Woodman and Darlow (I'd prefer WC winning Woodman but the Palace honchos might not want to take the risk). All three are highly rated young English goalkeepers (well OK Butland isn't "young" anymore but he's still yet to reach peak age), and could be snapped up at a reasonable price if their clubs go down.
