Benteke taking that penalty is the most inane thing I've ever ever witnessed as a Palace fan. We dn't deserve the three points after that, I don;t care what we've done for the rest of the game. In what world was that the time for Benteke to go seeking a confidence booster. He's a poor pen taker at the best of times and there are several players on that pitch we could have turned to for an almost guaranteed three points. I don't know whos decision it was for Benteke to take that shambles of a pen, but they should be shot. By far the stupidest thing I've ever witnessed as a Palace fan.

Does Hodgson know what a "track record" is? He's fluffed his last two penalties in the feeblest fashion and that one was no different. Milivojevic has taken three now I think or is it four? And gave the keeper no chance on any of those occasions. I'm through with Tekers now, he's really become miserably poor. £30m? Good God.

That is as stupid as it gets. Whoever decided Benteke would take it is a fool. Could our captain being off caused this stupid, irresponsible decision? Couldn't Hodgson have issued orders? Stupid, stupid, stupid!I've not been this angry since Swansea & Burnley late defeats last season.

It doesn't seem so very long ago that 'The Return of Benteke' was being hailed as the solution to all our goal scoring troubles.....the fact that we're no better off now than then says it all.......bring back Adebayor!

I shows a real lack of on field leadership. If we had characters like Jedi and Damo on the pitch there is no way Benteke would have been allowed to take that! a decision which could cost us massively1

I'd like to know who decided that CB should take that penalty? Did someone have money on us not winning? We seem to have a death wish! Roy needs to explain/justify that decision in his post match.
