We did have an allocated penalty taker. Roy said after the game that Benteke unilaterally decided to take the kick and nobody could take the ball off of him.

This really pisses me off. ‘No one could take the ball off him’. What absolute bollocks. No one had the bollocks to take it off him more like. I’ve seen games where there’s been blaring rows, pushing and shoving and general rucking about whose pen it is. Benteke wanted it a d the pussies in our side folded. Where was the arguements? ‘ couldn’t take it off him’ my arse. Spineless team more like. Luka should have pulled rank. It was his pen. He surrendered it.

You have nailed it. But, unfortunately and wrongly, it is obvious looking at the penalty vid that within the squad Luka's rank is lower than Benteke's......because he earns more money probably. Well it can't be on ability can it?

Who was captain after Sakho went off?
I assume Dann???? Surely he should have been the one to sort it out on the pitch and ensure Luka was given the ball. For me the skipper failed!

I've just seen on motd Tomkins waving his arms in anger that I did see at the match. I didn't see much more because I was looking at the Bournemouth players trying to put pressure on the lino.

This is a really sorry state of affairs that I think has been an issue since Pardew. No leader or leadership, hierarchy, decided by press headlines/past results/past clubs/honours/wages. Whatever it is it is bollox. There should be a few leaders through he spine of the team and not this kind of cr@p allowed.

When does the amateurishness stop at Palace 2124 when the arfur is rebuilt. What a bunch of cvnts.

Don't rely on him. He did f&ck all when Everton's blondie scythed Cheek. No grabbing or pushing or verbals. Just a scouse whinge from 6 yards away from the perpetrator, minutes after Cheek is up and 30 seconds before the free kick comes over.

He's no fvcking leader. His example is sh1t and his bollox have gone. Shouldn't even be a starter and he isn't if Sakho and Tomkins are available.

A sorry state of affairs needs addressing. I felt early on discipline was wrong.

Make Cabaye or Luka leaders and end this shyte. Bunch of ta&it's, many of them.

As I said. Bottle jobs. No one wanted to be the one who potentially missed it

Remind me, under what circumstances exactly does Milivojevic miss penalties?

His conversion rate is in space compared with anyone else.

Milivojevic - 100%.
Cabaye - missed that one at Newcastle, given up since then.
Puncheon - s***e.
Benteke - s***e.

We always had a discussion about who should take the penalties because players seemed to bottle them an awful lot. Now we have Milivojevic. And Benteke thinks he should be taking penalties.

Why didn't he have the ball off him then? Explain why he didn't stand up to him

I'd have been throwing my lightweight boots at the cvnt in the dressing room. ''Here you are super star, show us how it's done as you're the best. Pleased with yourself? Have a look at the table tonight.''

Evidently because that would have required him to have Benteke physically removed.

Even had he taken it Benteke's behaviour would have compromised his ability to do so. And that answers the question, doesn't it? In what circumstances does Milivojevic miss penalties? Answer: When he's first had to argue with some idiot about why he should be taking it when said idiot is s***e at penalties and has made a huge scene over it.

I mention again a point I made earlier. It's not exactly up for debate who takes the penalties and if it were in any doubt that doubt should have been dispelled by the one Milivojevic put away in the first half. It's not like the previous case where Benteke muscled in on a penalty, when in fact the other candidates were only marginally more qualified than him, and when he had in fact scored one previously, albeit with a poor shot.

How does Roy approach this in the dressing room ? Benteke obviously screwed up everyones hard work with his selfishness, yet at the same time you ask your striker to be selfish.
I do think the acting captain should have grown a pair and done what everyone on the field and in the stands expected, i.e. have Milo take the penalty, there is nothing more consistent in our team than Milo hitting the back of the net on a penalty.

Case closed. The spineless CB's who should be the toughest physically did fvck all as usual which is very concerning, again.
