We would actually have had that squad (not side) last season and this season if things were done correctly for a football club and not a cost cutting exercise, that inevitably costs more each time and with stop gaps that are very soon not up to standard once the immediate goals have been achieved.

To reiterate - we are still nearer being a mid-table prem team now though than before Parish joined us when we were basking down the lower regions of the Championship.

Sensible people in business and life compare progress with recent times and not 7 years ago. Everything was going well when everything was clicking into place. When it wasn't lessons were not learned and here we are again, unless you think being better than 7 years ago helps us tomorrow or the other 37 league games.

All this was avoidable. It would be understandable or acceptable if it was inevitable we'd be in this situation but that's not the case, and you know it. Hopefully football people make the football decisions or he doesn't not implement them.

Heat of the moment thing.

Both parties (like me) probably spend too much time on social media

Parish, obviously very angry about the penalty fluff, and then gets shlt on by a fan (s).

Fair play to Parish for fronting the guy up, and gutless of the w@nker who threw the Cornish Pasty (unless it was a catering issue he was drawing attention to )

SJ made a lot of mistakes, but his one sentence of wisdom (after buying the club, then going on the terraces), was that "once you own a club, never get too close to the fans"

SP needs to take a few steps back

* and having done martial arts, the person to be most wary of in a confrontation, is the guy who take a step or two backwards. He is the guy making space to hurt you,...badly
