The courts seemed to act on verbal petitions during parliament being peroged.

Of course they didn't.

They considered cases that were brought before them. That's what they do and all that they do.

They are selective in the outcome of their considerations though.
TR will prove that I'm sure.

The petition will unfortunately mean nothing.

The only hope of seeing this report in any detail is if Boris, Priti, Cummings and Co want this to happen and are successful in bullying the home office to do so.

I suspect at best there will be some form of heavy compromise eventually (like a heavily redacted / summarized report) so that the Tories can at least say they did what they said they would do.

I wonder if someone at the Home Office is searching through the report with a "Find a word and Replace" function.

Just as I had suspected, like a good feminist you have had them removed.

If you mean they select what is legal from what is not then yes they are selective.

That won't just apply to "Robinson's" case. It applies to all. The law is all that matters in a Courtroom. Everything else is for the politicians.

Unfortunately the verdict rests with the jury and most who’ve served on one can tell a tale of abject stupidity.

The original comment was about the case regarding the prorogation of Parliament.

Whether "Robinson's" case will be heard in front of a Judge, Magistrates or a full jury, is unknown to me but Judges can direct juries on the law.

And therein lies the problem. A lot of juries couldn’t understand the laws of noughts and crosses.
