I once went on a corporate jolly to the Royal Artillery fields at Moorgate for the 1998 world cup ( England vs Argentina, David Beckham's kick and all that). Anyway they had laid on some fun fair rides. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to go on a virtual roller coaster having downed about 10 pints that afternoon (they showed the earlier matches as well as the England game was an eve kick off). Needless to say it didn't end well. Somehow I managed to vomit in my mouth and swallow it again without anyone noticing. Not my finest hour. Good job I had a packet of mints in the pocket!

It was called the rotor. There was one at the fair in Battersea Park.

I remember that - and there used to be a wooden roller coaster I think.

I tried the virtual roller coaster once and figured out that you can just shut your eyes if you feel sick and you are fine.
