If Stoke lost Shaqiri and Allen for instance they'd be even worse than they are now. Same for most sides in bottom 14. No teams like us go weeks or months without a win or even a point when we lose said players. Well Brighton and Newcastle are but they've just been promoted and it spells relegation, that's the point. It's been like that for a long time. Good for those who don't notice this.

For all our attacking pace and Flair, Scoring goals is still our problem. I can quite easily see us going to Swansea and not scoring - especially as benteke is out. Someone needs to step up to the plate, other than Zaha. I'm looking at YC, RLC and AT! On paper our squad is better than others in the league, but i'm not sure performances have lived up to their on-paper credentials. I agree that our problems haven't magically disappeared, but that RH has made them less prominent. Our Squad is Still another injury away from a crisis. Having said that, we are on an excellent run at the moment, and one that doesn't feel like it's all gonna blow up like it has in the past. just that the goalscoring issues could stop us picking up the points we need against The teams we should get them from. Hopefuly we can prove that the Leicester result is the new Norm - not a aberration. Sheesh, that was more pessimistic that I was going for at the beginning!!

Leaving aside their home game against Man C , in their previous 5 Home games Swansea only conceded 3 goals.

Personally i think, as most seem to, that our first eleven is very good, but overall our squad is not good enough and we would be in trouble with injuries to key players. Edited by spartakev2 (21 Dec 2017 3.33pm)

We've not finished improving under Roy yet. Let's judge us when we have and we have to play squad players against a decent side. Then we'll know.

we are doing great but there's better to come in terms of attacking play (I feel). and yeh, squad players made huge differences v both Watford and Leicester.

Keep reading that Swansea have only conceded 3 goals in 5 home games before Man City...yawn! Our last 5 away we've only conceded 2 goals, which ain't bad either! So shove it you bunch o' pessimistic a**holes! Happy Christmas BTW....
